Tet celebrations at Sheraton Saigon
Saigon Café restaurant on level 1 will put on a Vietnamese-themed buffet from January 26 to 31, including beef and star fruit salad, Vietnamese fresh spring with soya bean sauce, wok fried glass noodle with crab meat, wok-fried beef, deep-fried seafood spring roll, crab cooked to guests’ favorite sauces of tamarind, sweet and sour or black pepper sauce.
There will be also international stations featuring poached salmon with citrus butter sauce, baked chicken with honey and mustard or Korean BBQ pork rib. Guests should not miss sweet Vietnamese desserts such as Vietnamese tapioca with green bean sweep soup, sticky rice with custard topping, and traditional Tet candies.
Li Bai restaurant on level 2 will start the Lunar New Year with a Yee Sang dish to bring guests lots of luck during the whole year. There will be a selection of sumptuous Yee Sang dishes at Li Bai including traditional New Year Yee Sang with salmon, braised pork’s knuckle with dry oyster and sea moss, braised abalone soup with pumpkin, wok-fried baby lobster with chili sauce, braised abalone with sea cucumber and mushroom in oyster sauce, steamed twin fish “Hong Kong” style, pan-fried beef steak with Hoisin sauce, and pan-fried home-made New Year cake.
Yee Sang promotion and Tet menu will be made available for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 6pm to 8pm from January 27 to February 15.
